charming stay
comfortable roomsfriendly staff
i enjoyed the comfortable rooms. the coffee machine was convenient. staff was friendly and efficient. the pub has a friendly buzz, and my meal was excellent.

the area has interesting shops. a bus goes up the hill to the village after the tube. transport links makes it easy to leave my car parked for days. i did like that the tennis venue is nearby.

The rooms were clean. (which is always appreciated) it was acceptable.
I did notice some wear and tear. The bathroom fixtures showed their age, and the shower pressure was weak. the noise from the nearby pub on Saturday night was quite loud. I struggled to fall asleep until after midnight, a BIG PROBLEM.
